These are some images from my time working as a photojournalist for Jornal da Cidade in Brazil (1996-2003). During my time there I worked on a wide range of assignments from politics to road accidents, interviews, natural disasters, social issues, etc…
I have learnt a lot there with my editor and the other photographers. I started working in the darkroom for a year, developing back and white film and enlarging pictures and while working as a press photographer later, witnessed the transformations that followed to colour film, scanning negatives and total digital capture and post processing. I could never have asked for a better school.
